With great enthusiasm, Iris completed the Master of Private Law and the Master of Business Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. After obtaining the masters, Iris was connected as a lecturer at Erasmus University Rotterdam for some time. The focus was on teaching first-year law students and further developing a skills line at the master's level. After a few enjoyable years, Iris decided to take the step into the legal profession, as she had always known since childhood that she wanted to become a lawyer. Since September 2024, Iris has been working as a legal assistant at De Haij & Van der Wende lawyers, where she will mainly focus on business law issues.

In her free time, Iris enjoys seeking out social gatherings. She likes to meet up with her friends for a cozy drink, play games, and discover new places. To balance this, Iris also tries out various sports classes at the gym and enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
