Secondment, temporary employment and payrolling

For these specific agreements, special conditions apply compared to the 'normal' employment contract. The temporary employment agency remains the contracting party of the temporary worker, but the temporary worker is also under the supervision of the hirer. This also applies to payroll constructions and secondment. This may raise questions for you about the practice. What about my liability as an employer in case of an accident? Can I eventually take over the temporary worker as my own employee? And what about the employment conditions? Do I have to continue paying my employee in case of illness or can I exclude the obligation to continue paying wages? Who pays the severance pay?
