Construction Law: Contracting of Work

The realization of a construction project involves (sub)contracting agreements. While standard contracts can sometimes be used, project-specific modifications are often necessary. At the same time, not all statutory rules may be deviated from, as certain provisions are mandatory. We navigate the complex maze of civil law regulations that apply to construction projects. We assist you in drafting the appropriate contracts and advise you on risks and obligations, such as liability for defects and the contractor’s duty to inform and warn.

We support you in disputes regarding additional work, defects, and determining who is responsible for specific damages. Additionally, we continuously assess whether there is reason to make new or supplementary agreements during the project (for example, in cases of unforeseen circumstances).

Quality assurance in construction is subject to complex regulations and involves multiple parties (the project initiator, contractor, quality assessor, and competent authority). We also assist you in disputes between these parties and protect your interests.

We work closely with you as a team, ensuring that your project is completed smoothly and efficiently while resolving issues quickly.
