Bas likes to travel to exotic destinations during his holidays. He loves adventure and is open to new challenges. Bas is also an enthusiastic photographer and records everything he discovers and experiences. He’s quite skilled at taking a photograph which captures the essence of a subject in an image. His ability to differentiate between main and side issues, his eye for detail, all help him in his work as an attorney.

At De Haij & Van der Wende, Bas’s primary focus is company contract law. His Landlord and Tenant Law practice centres on providing legal advice and litigation. Bas thinks of suitable and practical solutions and tailors these to match his clients’ needs; this helps his clients run their businesses more smoothly.

Bas is also an active member of the Lions service club in Nieuwerkerk aan de IJssel. Lions Nieuwerkerk is committed to helping people in need. Socially engaged, he is aware of what is happening in society and by helping others contributes to a better world.
